About

Hi! I’m Haley, a 23 year old photographer and content creator. I am passionate about travel, outdoors and slow & mindful living. I live in San Diego, California, but I’m usually somewhere near the mountains, following my brother, a professional athlete racing downhill in the UCI mountain bike world series, around the world with a camera, capturing the beautiful little moments along the way.

The above quote spoke to me from the moment I heard it. When many people hear it, they may think it has a superficial meaning, but in reality it couldn’t be more deep. You may choose to measure your life through accomplishments, productivity, success, even relationships. But the truth is, all these metrics fall flat without those immeasurable beautiful little moments. Because it’s these moments of beauty that give life meaning. And it’s not just beauty in the way things look, it’s a feeling that permeates your entire existence and lifts your soul. Sometimes this feeling is undeniable, but most of the time you have to take the time to look for it. It’s in the little things, like the way the sun hits the side of the mountains in the evening, the way your hair blows in the wind when you have the car windows down, the way you can hear your best friend’s laugh from all the way down the street. You have to train yourself to look for the beauty in life, and that is what will make your life beautiful. That is what will save the world.

This idea inspires everything I do: trying my best to capture those beautiful little moments. I have always loved to travel, and I have been taking pictures from the moment I got my first smartphone. The camera equipment may have gotten an upgrade, but the passion and fascination with the beauty of the world is still the same. If any of this resonates with you, or you feel you sometimes need a little reminder to look for those beautiful moments, follow me on instagram and drop your email below for a regular dose of beauty delivered straight to your inbox, or contact me if you’d like to work together!
